Hair like pewter silky fine
Lips that taste like strawberry wine
Soft pink top in knitted rib
Sucking end of pen and nib
Pearls of kimbo twisted down
Studying crosswords with a frown
In all, it's pink and soft and warm
To cuddle it almost feels the norm.

MORUYA HEADS
Sitting by a campfire
at the breaking of daylight,
listening as the land begins to stir.
Smell of steaming coffee,
little tousled heads appear
by magic, in the fresh morning air.
Curled up by a campfire
in the circle of your arms,
below the silent riders of the skies.
Cold lapping of dark water,
throwing back the silver stars,
to mingle with the fire in your eyes.
MY LOVE
If you had been born on a far-distant star
Still your soul would reach out for mine.
If I had been living millennia past
My heart would have sought you through time.
If you were a gypsy, rag-tag and free
I'd be the star in your eyes,
A cool breeze caressing a vast inland sea-
Know that my breath did blend with thine.
For souls that are Strangers, that refuse to submit
Reject Mediocrity's ride.
As Like calls to Like through the wind and the stars
The wilderness calls to the Wild.
My Man
I have a man, and he's crazy, you see.
He'll sleep in for hours, "veg" out with T.V.
He'll yell at the Play station,
Pull out his hair
(well, I'm sure that he would- if he had some to spare!!)
I have a man who can act like a clown-
Tickle me senseless whenever I'm down.
He's erratic and moody,
A bit of a bear
But creative and dashing-
Designer with flair!
I have a man of percussion and groove.
He'll percuss while he's standing, percuss on the move!
You may keep all the Porsches and College Degrees-
'Cos I have a man who can giggle with me.
