Factory Chaplaincy
Allied Colour and Additives Pty. Ltd.
As part of my chaplaincy role I visit a factory in Mitcham once a month as a Chaplain to the staff and factory workers. I normally sit around the lunch room from 12-00 noon to 2-00pm and chat to the guys as they come and go on their lunch shifts. I have stuck up good conversations with some of the South Sudanese, Vietnamese. Laotian and Greek workers, but I am having most difficulty with the Laotians. I have scoured Melbourne for a Laotian counsellor or an interpreter service that we can all afford. If you have any ideas or contacts, I would be most pleased if you would contact me through the e-mail address on this site. There are always going to be those going through difficult times among any group of people. Please pray that God will continue to use my availability to bless the lives of the workers.
