Co-ordinator's Role

Graeme has been the co-ordinator of the combined church group on the Warburton Hwy for the last eight years. In that capacity he has facilitated monthly lunch meetings, combined church celebration and outreach occasions, prayer days and helps in co-ordination special projects. He represents them at the Melbourne Pastors Network and at Shire level.
One of the most special movements of God through this group has been the doors opening in schools. Through a special mission to our valley in 2000, John Smith of the God Squad was able, with his team, to speak to about 2000 people in two weeks, most of whom were children. This made way for dialogue with principals and as a result we now have Chaplains in nineteen primary schools out of fifteen as well as the Upper Yarra Secondary College. That is on top of the Chaplains at Worawa and Upper Yarra Secondary.
In 1999 the leaders developed a document of unity that was a first in Victoria. Return to Combined Church menu for Document..
